DSW are likely to select evidence in the final three months as that is likely to be "robust and rich."

However, this is a continuous learning journey, so anything he uploads now is acceptable provided the reflective statement and evidence are meeting the learning objectives. Indeed, these learning objectives could be be updated / improved upon later down the line.

So take advantage of his keenness!

Hi Harleen,

SOL is initial activities before the induction date and it is for the Apprenticeship team to upload the relevant documentation onto etrack e.g. IAG, Skills Scan etc.

Your advice can be to ignore this. Tammy and her team will upload relevant documentation in time.

One of my learner says she is getting the following message on her e-track ( as attached). Anyone aware of this please?

Hi all,

Of of my highly enthusiastic learners has apparently mentioned to me during our second review meeting that he has collected some evidence based on a recent situation at work and he feels he meets at least 10 learning outcomes from that particulat scenario. He has even started writing his Refkective statement around it. I have asked him to upload the same in a doc file format via e-track; but my question is - Is it too early as apparently he still has 13 months to go and the DSW would anyways look into the latest piece. I understand that they are required to prove cometence throughout but did anyone else experience something similar?

As expected our guidance is correct.

No one has gone through gateway yet at Fitch and DSW. This comment must relate to a different course and provider. This is the way Fitch and DSW do it.

DSW;

"The portfolio evidence collection does vary across different standards, please see the assessment plans on the IFATE website.

Taken from the IFATE assessment plan:

L4 Investment The portfolio contains evidence that is likely to have been completed towards the end of the apprenticeship and will illustrate the application of the knowledge, skills and behaviours within the Standard synoptically.

L6 Financial Services Professional The on-programme stage will also require the apprentice to complete a portfolio of evidence that meets the requirements of the learning outcomes (Appendix 1) and the apprenticeship standard."
