Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours / How many Learning Outcomes?
« on: August 29, 2019, 03:47:03 pm »
Do all the learners have a requirement for 35 LO's to be met? I noticed that on e-track for a few of my learners, there are just a few KSB's and not all are being highlighted as against their ILP. Any reason why? Screenshot as below.

Learner Portal / Stretch targets for English/Maths
« on: August 23, 2019, 05:49:04 pm »
Hello,

I would appreciate some ideas from everyone as to how they are setting stretch targets for E/M for their exempt learners. I know one of the ways is through the Reflective statements and evidence but what can be other ways ? Are they suposed to evidence it to us? Also, one of my other learners claims that he doesn't have any Maths related activity in his role ( Account Opening team) and we are quite at loggerheads here as to what we can possibly set him stretch targets for in that case?

Any suggestions?

Learner Portal / Evidence after the 2nd review?
« on: August 23, 2019, 05:44:03 pm »
Hi all,

Of of my highly enthusiastic learners has apparently mentioned to me during our second review meeting that he has collected some evidence based on a recent situation at work and he feels he meets at least 10 learning outcomes from that particulat scenario. He has even started writing his Refkective statement around it. I have asked him to upload the same in a doc file format via e-track; but my question is - Is it too early as apparently he still has 13 months to go and the DSW would anyways look into the latest piece. I understand that they are required to prove cometence throughout but did anyone else experience something similar?

Hi all,

One of my learners was asking the pass mark for his IOC. I googled online and it did say 70% although I asked him to confirm with Amelia. Anyone knows for sure what that is?

Also, how do we know how many re-sits they are allowed?

Yes, I guess putting a reminder on outlook is a good idea to send to all learners . Do you do something like ' Update on targets set' and they accept it with their feedback on email or do you intearct them about targets on e-track?

Learner Experience / No comments on LPR Form?
« on: August 09, 2019, 04:04:01 pm »
Hi all,

I saw a learner yesterday and she has sent me her LPR signed but without any comments added. Do I upload it on e-track as it is or send it to learner for comments? Any guidance is appreciated :)

Sorry, not sure if it's the right category for this question but I just wanted to check when you guys are setting out targets at the first meeting and before you have your next quarterly review- do you send an email or check in with your learner as to whether they are on track or not? in terms of the targets set? Wondering if that can actually hep them as I don't want to put unnecessary pressure. Thoughts? Ideas? Or does anyone use any sort of reminder tools or apps etc to remind them to remind the learners about their targets? I hope I am not sounding like a headteacher ;)  It's just I feel I am setting targets with different dates for each of them and it's hard for me to keep a track of it myself.

I have realised that when I log on to e-track, I get a message flashing ' You have 2 learners with no new recent events.' Does that mean that I am not going according to assesment dates because that's what's been happening due to holiday season and all, my first meetings with a few learnings didnt happen within 2 weeks? Or is it something else?

Thanks :)
